Matic-D is Nissan's Full Syntheic version of Dexron III. Some report using it in Transfer Cases, transmissions use Nissan Matic-J or Matic-S.... There's nothing else on the market that compares to Nissan Matic-S...


FWIW, Nissan Matic-D is CHEAP from the dealership or shipped from Fontana Nissan, or CourtesyParts... I'd forget about using aftermarket fluid if I were you, most Full-Synthetics cost about the same if not more than Matic-D..
